Goal. Working techniques in scholarly fields (like history) are very different from techniques in science-oriented fields. Especially in interdisciplinary research, it is very important to master both styles. This four-week project aims at teaching scholarly techniques to science students.
The project starts with some introductory lectures on scholarly writing (citation techniques, the use of footnotes, proper references). After that the students will get a selection of papers on historical logic with the task of summarizing the views of the authors in a short essay with their own opinion.
