Ana Lucia Vargas (MoL 2015)

Ana Lucia is a product owner for Sowiso from the Paragin Group, a teaching and learning app for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects in higher education. As a product owner she acts as the bridge between business goals and the development team, by shaping the product's vision and ensuring that the product delivers value to users: students, educators, and institutions. Her day to day involves working closely with the technical development teams to make sure that the right focus and the right elements are being built to improve the product. 

In previous years, she did her PhD (graduated in June 2020) at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) at the University of Amsterdam, funded by CONACYT Mexico, and under the supervision of  Dr. Alexandru Baltag, Prof. dr. Dick de Jongh and Dr. Aybüke Özgün. Before that, she obtained her MSc in Logic at the ILLC and her Bachelor diploma in Mathematics and Physics at Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo in Morelia, Mexico.
